17 days full of attractions and wonderful experiences - that was the Summer Festival 2024 in the Olympic Park, which attracted around 315,000 visitors between 9 and 25 August under the patronage of Mayor Verena Dietl. This was despite the fact that the Summer Festival was one week shorter than last year. In 2023, the holiday classic attracted around 350,000 visitors.

It was simply wonderful to see how many Munich residents and tourists from all over the world enjoyed our summer festival. The varied holiday programme went down well and was particularly popular with families. Our concept of combining well-known and popular summer festival attractions with new offers has once again proved successful,' said Marion Schöne, Managing Director of Olympiapark München GmbH.

The 17-day event offered many different experiences, especially for families spending the summer in the city. In addition to the classic summer festival attractions such as the rides organised by Munich's carnies, the street of stalls and the food stands, attractions such as the three theme weekends 'Bavaria & Culture', 'DIY & Arts & Crafts' and 'Body & Mind', the Dachshund Day, the Foodtruck Market and the Kinderland were very popular.

Not forgetting the traditional fireworks that lit up the sky above the Olympic Park. The Summer Festival programme was as colourful and varied as you could wish for.
