They then pressed ten rockers' hands into the cement. Klaus Meine offered very emotional thanks for being included in the Walk of Stars: "We feel very honoured to be included in the exclusive circle of stars and legends, and to be placed alongside Aerosmith and Metallica." After the ceremony, the Scorpions received another platinum CD for having sold 200,000 albums and gave a whole raft of interviews. The MOWOS team agreed that no band had ever taken so long to be immortalised in the hallowed concrete.
