The Olympic Park Munich is one of the largest event and leisure centers in the world. The tasks of Olympiapark München GmbH (OMG) are multi-layered and extend into many different areas - but above all into the event, leisure sports and tourism sectors. In order to play a significant role in shaping life in these areas and to develop new things together with partners, OMG is organized in a number of associations and federations.
Sustainability is part of the DNA of the Olympic Park. Nowhere in the world is an Olympic site still used as intensively as here after more than 50 years. OMG stands for sustainable development and is committed to acting in an economically, ecologically and socially responsible manner. For this reason, we are involved in the following programs.
The Munich Olympic Park participates in the City of Munich's Ökoprofit program and is also registered with the German government's Energy Efficiency Networks initiative.
By using drinking water from Munich, the Olympic Park makes a valuable contribution to environmental protection and resource conservation.
