New standing places for the handball World Championships
10.01.2019 - Olympiapark München GmbH
Limited availability for the three sold-out match days in Munich
Tomorrow sees the start of the 26th IHF handball World Championships for 2019 in Munich! But there haven't been any tickets left for it - until now: handball fans now have the opportunity to still experience the start of the World Championships in Munich, but standing up. Not only for the opening days, but also for all three of the sold-out match days, a limited number of standing place tickets has now been released.
"Despite the 'sold out' message, demand for tickets has been relentless. That's why we've just decided to offer standing places on these three match days too," explains Olympic Park boss Marion Schöne.
The standing place tickets on Friday, 11th January, Sunday, 13th January and on the final day of the preliminary round, Thursday, 17th January, are now available from advance ticket outlets for Euro 19.
There are still 800 and 1,300 tickets available for Monday, 14th January and Wednesday, 16th January.
The tickets are available to buy in advance only via the official website, handball19.com, or where still available from the box office on the day.
The Munich Olympic Park will play host from the 11th to the 17th of January 2019 to World Championships Group B, in which the former world champions and Olympics winners Croatia will fight it out against the current European champions Spain, as well as Macedonia, Iceland, Bahrain and Japan, with their former German trainer Dagur Sigurdsson.
