The dozen was full. On 16 April 2025, Reinhard Fendrich played his twelfth concert in the Olympic Hall, more than three decades after his debut at the same venue. He also made two appearances at the Midsummer Night's Dream in 2007 and 2010, a good occasion to finally immortalise himself as a permanent guest in the Olympic Park on the Munich Olympic Walk of Stars. 

The Austrian pop legend arrived punctually and in the best of moods for the festive ceremony surrounding his sold-out performance as part of his ‘Wimpernschlag’ tour: friendly, approachable and likeable. The entire MOWOS team was greeted with a handshake, humour and his characteristic Vienna charm. The fact that he mistakenly wrote the date of 6 April instead of 16 April in the liquid concrete was irrelevant. Incidentally, Fendrich has already practised reaching into the mud (Austrian for: mud, sludge). In 2011, he was the 100th artist to leave his handprints on the Walk of Stars at the Vienna Gasometer. Now he also has his place of honour in the Olympic Park.
