Christmas and New Year in the Olympic Park

Opening times and offers during the holiday period and for New Year Quickly wrapping presents, taking the last cookies out of the oven, decorating the tree - the days in the run-up to Christmas are usually pretty hectic. So a bit of recuperation and relaxation will do everyone the world of good. That's why the Olympic Park is offering a whole raft of activities for Christmas and New Year, including: swimming, ice skating, indoor football and much more. Or simply soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy a leisurely walk ... Or how about a lap in the pool? On 24th December and 31st December 2018, the Olympic Indoor Swimming Pool will be open from 7.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (ticket office closes at 1 p.m.), and on 25th and 26th December from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. On 1st January 2019, the indoor swimming pool will be open from 10 a.m. Find out more at https://www.swm.de/privatkunden/m-baeder/schwimmen/hallenbaeder/olympia-schwimmhalle.html For amateur ice figure skaters, it's high season. On the 24th and 31st of December 2018, the Olympic Ice Sports Centre will close at 4 p.m. (ticket office closes at 3.30 p.m.), and on 1st January 2019 we open the doors at 10 a.m. On the other days of the holiday period, opening hours are as normal. There are also of course offers available as part of the special figure skating programme. Exciting footballing action is the order of the day during the holidays in the Olympic Park's SoccArena. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the arena will close at 4 p.m., but normal opening hours apply on all other days of the holiday period. What better place to experience the New Year's Eve fireworks than in the Olympic Tower? Munich's tallest observation tower will be open on 31st December 2018 from 9 a.m. to midnight. On 1st January 2019, however, the doors won't be opened until 10 a.m. On 24th December, the Olympic Tower will close at 4 p.m. (last ascent 3.30 p.m.). On all other days, it is open from 9 a.m. to midnight (last ascent 11:30 p.m.). The Olympic Stadium is closed on the 24th and 31st of December 2018, and open on the other days during the holidays between its usual times from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The varied tour programme provided by visitor services includes marquee roof tours, abseiling tours, stadium and experience tours, including a visit to the Olympic Lobby. Architectural and sight-seeing tours are available with prior arrangement. Visitor services are only closed over Christmas (from the 24th to the 26th of December) and on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Sea Life Munich - the Olympic Park's huge aquarium, is only closed on Christmas Eve and will be open as normal on all other days.
