What could be better than giving the gift of time together? The joy of experiencing something special with family and friends? A Midsummer Night's Dream on 19 July 2025 is the perfect opportunity to do just that. In its 20th anniversary year, the summer classic will once again transform the Olympic Park into a fantastic festival site with two large open-air stages, plenty of space to stroll around, time to enjoy and one of the most spectacular pyrotechnic shows in Germany. Tickets go on sale today, 4 December, including the popular Early Bird Tickets, which are available at reduced prices until 31 December.

On 19 July, the Olympic Park will once again be the setting for a unique festival atmosphere and unforgettable moments. Launched in 2005, the event has become an established institution and an annual highlight of the Munich summer. With two open-air stages, international and national music acts as well as promising newcomers, Midsummer Night's Dream offers a thrilling musical programme that accompanies visitors from the afternoon into the evening hours. The highlight is the breathtaking 30-minute pyrotechnics show, one of the largest and most spectacular fireworks displays in Germany, which bathes the Olympic Lake and Olympic Mountain in a glittering sea of light, accompanied by music - a sight guaranteed to give you goosebumps and make thousands of eyes light up.

Food trucks invite you to sample delicacies from all over the world to tantalise your taste buds. Visitors to the Summer Night's Dream will also find pure relaxation on the festival site: the meadows around the Olympic Lake are recommended for this. Once again, the Olympic Park is synonymous with an exuberant summer atmosphere in the open air, which around 30,000 visitors celebrated this year despite the unstable weather.

As the Midsummer Night's Dream is best spent with your favourite people, friends or family, advance ticket sales start just in time for the pre-Christmas period. So if you are still looking for presents for your loved ones, you have the chance to give the gift of a wonderful shared experience in the form of Midsummer Night's Dream tickets. And even at reduced prices, as the popular early bird tickets are also available this year until 31 December 2024.

München Ticket and Eventim are offering three ticket categories at reduced prices. Depending on the category selected, Early Bird tickets cost either €45 instead of €52 (category 1) or €35 instead of €42 (category 2). Tickets for wheelchair users including accompanying person are available for €35 instead of €42 during the Early Bird period. So if you're quick, you can save seven euros per ticket.

For all those looking for an exclusive Christmas present: With the VIP ticket, you can enjoy culinary specialities and drinks in the ‘Coubertin’ restaurant in the open-air area. The roof terrace also offers a breathtaking view of the fireworks. You can also admire the spectacle up close on the lake on the VIP platform. The ticket offers access to all stages of the event and is available exclusively from München Ticket.
