New show - Believe - in the Olympic Hall! For 400 years, “Romeo and Juliet” has been the greatest love story in the world! This Shakespeare classic continues to stir hearts even today. From the 8th to the 12th of February 2017, it will also do so in the Olympic Hall, where Holiday On Ice is re-interpreting the touching love story in its show “Believe” - but this time there’s a happy ending. Romeo and Juliet - a passionate and modern production! Believe is a modern Romeo and Juliet story of heartbreak, desire, jealousy and one true love - and all of it on ice! The captivating story of the forbidden love between two people from different worlds enthrals the public in the Olympic Hall from the first to the final scene. Unlike in Shakespeare’s tragedy, however, the spectators of this version can look forward to a happy ending. By using innovative lighting and sound effects, the audience is whisked away to two worlds through sound and vision: the industrial underworld, characterised by machinery, meets a pulsating world full of glitz and glamour. The figure skaters and artists take the audience with them into a magical world full of breathtaking moments in which passion knows no limits. That's Holiday on Ice ... With more than 328 million visitors (that's a Guinness record!), HOLIDAY ON ICE is the most popular ice show in the world. Over 70 years after it was first performed in December 1943, HOLIDAY ON Ice has grown from a small hotel show in the USA to a global phenomenon. Back in 1951, HOLIDAY ON ICE conquered Europe and celebrated its first German première in Frankfurt in that same year. The popular ice show uses elements from theatre, dance, opera, pop, magic, musicals and acrobatics. Every year, a new and original production is created which tours through more than 75 cities in 15 countries with around 1,000 performances each season. HOLIDAY ON ICE has been appearing at the Olympic Hall since 1972. During this time, more than 2.5 million visitors have seen over 600 shows in the Olympic Park.
