ICE AGE LIVE A mammoth adventure

The live show for all the family in the Olympic Hall. "Manni, Manni, we're going on tour!", lisps the the public's darling, Sid, the famous sloth from the cinema blockbuster series ICE AGE - spoken by the legendary East Friesian actor Otto Waalkes. And how right he is, because from 6th to 9th February 2014, all of the Ice Age heroes will be live in the Olympic Hall Munich in a show for all the family! It'll be the coolest event since the mammoths came back: Sid, Manni, Diego and of course Scrat will be appearing as life-sized figures in ICE AGE LIVE! A MAMMOTH ADVENTURE! The brand-new ice show tells a whole new story of the four heroes and their friends - in the characteristically humorous Ice Age style and in German - through a unique blend of original films, spectacular acrobatics, ice skating, flying scenes and dance. Children's eyes especially will shine when 3.6-metre-tall mammoths walk onto the giant ice rink and the audience is transported back to the ice age. Detailed costumes will bring all of the ICE AGE heroes to life through a unique blend of original films, spectacular acrobatics, ice skating, flying scenes, dance and music - all live and up close. The public's darling Sid, alias Otto Waalkes, lisped excitedly in an interview: "This show is going to be brilliant! Real Ice Age fans, even the little ones, just have to be there", and he's already given away some secrets: "I'm going to be doing all sorts - ice-skating, dancing and ... singing!" Twentieth Century Fox and Stage Entertainment Touring Productions have brought in Michael Curry especially for this innovative production. The world-class character designer, known for his wonderful "Disney's The Lion King" creations, has brought the lovable characters from the ICE AGE cinema blockbuster series Scrat, Diego, Manni and Sid to life.
