Tennis in the Olympic Park has a long history. The great Davis Cup duels with Boris Becker in 1985 against Sweden or 1989 against the USA are unforgettable. Or the nine years in which the Munich Olympic Hall was the venue for the Compaq Grand Slam Cup. The tennis facility next to the Parkharfe has been very popular with recreational and amateur players since the mid-1970s. The excellently maintained clay courts offer players the best conditions for a top-class tennis match. The center court has a grandstand for 500 spectators. If you book a court, you can park for free, and the Olympiazentrum subway station is just a few minutes' walk away. For those who come without their own equipment: There are also rackets for hire on site.
And if you fancy a bite to eat after the match ball, the adjacent Olympia Parkcafe offers Bavarian and international specialties.
