ZZ Top

Live In Concert

With their trademark beards, raunchy blues and super-tight boogie, legendary Texas rockers ZZ TOP are set to celebrate their 50th anniversary in style, on their upcoming 2019 European summer tour.

In five decades spanning an incredible career, ZZ Top have produced a string of hits, and honoured by a witty induction into the R&R Hall of Fame in 2004 by none other than Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. Armed with just ten guitar strings and a drum kit, the powerhouse trio has conquered mega-stadiums and small clubs alike! Heavily bearded guitarist/vocalist, Billy Gibbons is flanked by his bearded onstage twin, Dusty Hill on bass and vocals — together with (the beardless!) Frank Beard on drums. One of the few major rock bands of the 70’s not to have suffered line-up changes, ZZ TOP continue to hit the stages with undiminished energy, in a class all of their own.  Since their formation in 1969, ZZ TOP's signature ‘barrelhouse’ blues sound characterised by Gibbons’ fat, distorted guitar and saucy, humorous lyrics – produced a long line of classic hits such as "Cheap Sunglasses", "Sharp Dressed Man", "Legs", "Helpless" as well as the hits, "Rough Boy", "I Thank You" and "Pin Cushion". Brilliant and entertaining, ZZ TOP are the authentic Texas roots-rockers, with a deceptively straightforward style that eschews trendiness. Support: Siggi Schwarz
