Born in Eritrea in 1983, he was still a baby when his mother fled to Germany with him and his two brothers to escape the war of independence - and eventually ended up in Mössingen, a town south of Tübingen: Which led to Teddy calling himself an "Eritrean Swabian" to this day. After completing an acting course at a Stuttgart theatre academy, he landed his first television roles in 2009, including as the faggy petrol station tenant Peter Gesesse in the SWR series "Laible und Frisch" and on ZDF as the Rhineland drug dealer Moel in "Kommissar Stolberg".
He became known nationwide in 2011 when he uploaded the "Integration Test Survey" to his new YouTube channel as the fictional character Antoine. A sketch that became a cult hit with more than 45 million streams. In 2012, Teddy Teclebrhan celebrated his stage premiere with his programme "Was labersch Du" ("What are you talking about"), and since then he has regularly toured the country in order to slip into his other parade roles such as Ernst Riedler, Percy or Lohan Cohan. On four nights in the Olympic Hall on 18, 19, 20 and 21 June 2025, he will combine music and dance, acting and comedy in an entertainingly quirky and typically Teddyesque way to create a great experience.
