The Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris ended with fantastic images and the Bavarian Olympic Training Centre is proud of the achievements of the more than 60 Bavarian athletes.
But as we all know, after the Olympics is before the Olympics and so preparations for the next Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2026 and the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028 are already beginning after the Games in Paris.
This is why the next Sports Medicine Congress organised by the Bavarian Olympic Training Centre will focus precisely on this intermediate phase, the so-called Olympiad. Under the motto ‘Between the Games - Preparing for peak performance’, we will start the fourth edition of the success-winning congress together in one of the most prominent sports venues in the world - the Olympic Park Munich - and look at this fundamentally significant phase with a focus on medicine and physiotherapy. At the same time, we will show how amateur athletes and patients can benefit from these findings and what we can learn from competitive sport in sports medicine therapy.
The Bavarian Olympic Training Centre is organising the congress in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich, the OS INSTITUT ortho & sport and the Orthopaedics Department at Stiglmaierplatz. Our speakers include renowned association and national league doctors, international experts and renowned Olympians, who we will integrate even more intensively into our supporting programme. Together with our congress committee, we stand for a programme that is both entertaining and of high quality in terms of content and are aiming for 400 participants for OSM2025.
