For more than 20 years, Sarah Connor has been one of Germany's outstanding pop and soul performers. Her breakthrough came in 2001 with her debut album "Green Eyed Soul", and she reached number one in the album charts with "Naughty But Nice" (2005), "Muttersprache" (2015) and "Herz Kraft Werke" (2019). However, she also celebrated a great success with her first Christmas album "Christmas In My Heart" with twelve covered classics or newly arranged songs.
In 2022, Sarah Connor produced "Not So Silent Night", a long player that she herself did not call a classic Christmas album, but an album with twelve new Christmas songs she had written herself. An album she recorded with friends and colleagues in studios on the Greek volcanic island of Santorini and in London. "Of course I love the Christmas songs, the decorated windows and lit streets, the kitsch," says the singer. "Through the eyes of my children, I can still believe in the magic and wish with all my heart for peace on Christmas Eve for the world they live in." Fittingly for the Advent season, Sarah Connor comes to the Olympic Hall on 13 December - and will certainly ensure a not-so-silent night.
