Sabaton

The Legendary Tour 2025

Olympic Hall

They have been one of the absolute top acts in the Scandinavian metal scene for a good quarter of a century. Their songs are characterised above all by military-historical themes, with their most recent albums focusing on the First World War. Sabaton are now embarking on their new Legendary Tour - and are also promising a unique concert spectacle in the Olympic Hall on 20 November 2025.

‘The Great War’ and “The War to End All Wars” - these were the titles of the two most recently released albums by the Swedish power quintet. In terms of content, they dealt with events of the First World War, whether the assassination in Sarajevo or the Battle of Verdun, the trench warfare in the South Tyrolean Alps or the peace treaty of Versailles. However, the band founders and leading figures Joakim Brodén and Pär Sundström do not want to be seen as glorifying war. The two figureheads have repeatedly emphasised their interest in historical events, the background to which they also report on on their YouTube channel ‘Sabaton History’ in more than 100 episodes.

For 2025, the Scandinavian warhorses are now promising their fans a tour that will eclipse even the monumental performances of the past two decades. ‘Bigger and better than ever before,’ says the band's still somewhat vague announcement, ’throw your traditional thinking overboard and get ready for more Sabaton than ever before.’ What Brodén and co. do reveal: A ‘Legendary Orchestra’ as accompaniment is also set to provide an unprecedented spectacle. You can be curious.
