Pietro Lombardi has cancelled his concert at the Olympic Hall in Munich, which was planned for this evening, due to the terrible attack on a demonstration march by the trade union Ver.di in Munich. Pietro, his band and organiser MSK are appalled by the terrible events in Munich. We wanted to bring summer and a cheerful, light beach party feeling to Munich on this cold February day and spend a wonderful evening together with our fans.
But the attack on the Ver.di demo changes everything. We are shocked, sad and angry. Giving a concert here today would feel absolutely wrong for Pietro Lombardi and his entire team. We believe that Pietro's fans feel the same way and have therefore decided to cancel the Pietro Lombardi tour finale in Munich today. Our thoughts and prayers are now with the victims - everything else is secondary. The purchase price of tickets will of course be refunded.
