Olivia gained her first experience in show business as an actress - as one of the leading actresses in the Disney series Bizaardvark (2016) and High School Musical (2019). However, her real breakthrough came as a singer-songwriter in January 2021, when her debut single "Drivers Licence" immediately stormed to number one on the charts in the US and UK. A few months later, "Good 4 U" also reached the top position in Germany for the first time. Unsurprisingly, their first studio album "Sour", released in May 2021, also topped the rankings in many countries worldwide and went quadruple platinum.

In September 2023, Olivia Rodrigo made an impressive return with her second album "Guts", a long player that was met with great enthusiasm by the critics. Billboard wrote of the "most complete pop album of the year" and Rolling Stone said: "The album of a truly brilliant rock star. An album that, of course, made it to No. 1 in the charts in Germany, the USA and Great Britain immediately after its release.
