The Night of the Proms 2024 will once again offer its fans an extraordinary concert experience this year. International stars of rock and pop music will once again perform under the motto "Classical meets pop". Accompanied by the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra and the Fine Fleur Choir under the direction of conductor Alexandra Arrieche, they will create an evening that will linger long after the concert.

With a career spanning four decades and over 100 million albums sold worldwide, award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer and Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart is one of the most respected and successful talents in the history of popular music. The Englishman shaped the music of the 80s with hits such as "Sweet Dreams" and "Here Comes The Rain Again". In addition to his work with Eurythmics/Annie Lennox, Stewart has realised numerous solo and collaborative projects, including with Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger and Gwen Stefani.

Songs such as "Boombastic" and "It Wasn't Me" by the Jamaican-American musician Shaggy are familiar. His unique blend of reggae, dancehall and hip-hop has earned him worldwide recognition. Shaggy has been honoured with several platinum awards and received various music prizes, including the Grammy. In addition to his music career, he is also involved in various charitable projects.

The British rock band Cutting Crew was founded in 1985 and is best known for their single "(I Just) Died in Your Arms", which climbed to the top of the charts all over the world. Their debut album "Broadcast" was a huge success and established them in the rock scene. Cutting Crew impress live with their razor-sharp sound and emotional performance.

With hits such as "80 Millionen" and "Wenn sie tanzt", German singer-songwriter Max Giesinger has firmly established himself in the German music scene. Giesinger inspires with catchy melodies and authentic lyrics. On his biggest tour to date in 2023, 65,000 fans took the opportunity to experience the artist's incredible live show.

The American rock band Starship emerged from the band Jefferson Starship in 1984. With their catchy sound and distinctive melodies, Starship shaped the music of the 80s and gained worldwide fame. They became famous with number one hits such as "We Built This City", "Sara" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now". The singer of Starship Mickey Thomas will rock the halls of the Proms as their vocal figurehead.

The talented pianist Louis Philippson combines classical and contemporary music with ease. His original compositions and unique piano arrangements inspire a wide audience, while his piano versions of pop classics are conquering entire generations on TikTok. With compelling performances and a growing fan base, he is an up-and-coming force in the music world at just 19 years of age and is set to rock the halls of the Proms as their vocal figurehead.
