Night of Freestyle

As so often at past Freestyle Nights, the event in January 2025 was a spectacle in a class of its own. Of course, Luc Ackermann - the motocross freestyler who was once the youngest freestyler of all time to perform a backflip on a motorbike at the age of twelve - was once again present at one of the most legendary extreme sports events in the world. This time he wowed the crowd with a magnificent double backflip. Another highlight was the triple backflip by talented German mountain biker Maximus Wielopolski. He was joined by other great tricks: sidecar cult rider Jason van Daele demonstrated a backflip, as did Jason Cesco and Vinnie Janssens, who managed the world's first tandem snowmobile backflip. Spanish freestyle motocross rookie Pablo Pacheco caused a sensation. He performed a suicide no hand front flip on an e-bike - and of course, as always, garnished with a colourful laser and pyro show throughout the evening.

Action sports fans can now look forward to the next edition of the mega spectacle. On 11 January 2026, the who's who of the scene will return to the Olympic Hall: for a new daring performance, for tricks and stunts at the limits of what is possible.
