Metallica have announced their European tour. It is a part of the worldwide “World Wired Tour” following the release of their new album “Hardwired... To Self-Destruct”.
Between mid-September 2017 and the end of April 2018, Metallica present themselves in seven selected arenas, and the Olympic Hall in Munich is one of the stages. There will be no additional shows as part of the Arena Tour!
Each entrance ticket purchased at official booking offices provides the choice between a regular digital or a regular physical copy of “Hardwired... to Self-Destruct”. Further information on this can be obtained when purchasing the ticket. If you have already purchased an album, it is possible to give away a copy.
The new album “Hardwired... To Self-Destruct”, which appeared on Metallica’s own label at the end of 2016 and has taken the charts by storm straightaway, reaching no. 1, sold 800,000 units in the first week alone.
Metallica have received many honors and awards, including nine Grammys, two American music awards and several MTV video music awards. In 2009, they were accepted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
