The 2CELLOS had their breakthrough in 2011 when they recorded Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" and received their first record deal. Whether songs by U2 and Nirvana, Coldplay and Sting: with their virtuoso as well as spectacular interpretation of legendary pop and rock classics, the 2CELLOS became international superstars of musical crossover. In their more than ten years together, they played at the 60th anniversary of the Queen's throne at Buckingham Palace in 2012, for Pope Francis at the Vatican as well as before the Champions League final in 2018.
In September 2022, HAUSER released his latest solo album, "The Player". It features impressively interpreted cover versions of big hits like "Besame Mucho", "Waka Waka" or "Let's Get Loud".
Under the motto "Rebel with a Cello", HAUSER will embark on his first major solo tour in autumn 2023. With pieces from the world of classical music and pop, from Tchaikovsky to Shakira, from Mozart to Madonna. And in between, there's also a lot of heavy metal. A sound to dream to, dance to, headbang to, garnished with a great show of light effects and pyrotechnics. To be seen and heard on 28 October in the Olympic Hall.
