Half Marathon Munich

10 km and 5 km

Olympic Park Munich

On 6 April, the 19th edition of the Munich Half Marathon will take place in the Olympic Park - also the 20th anniversary of the running event.

There is a 21.1 km half marathon and a 10 km run. For beginners, there is a 5 km ‘fun run’ over one lap. The 10 km run involves completing a 5 km lap of the Olympic Park twice, while the half marathon involves 4 laps and a final lap of 1.1 km. Around 3,000 runners have registered so far, the majority of whom have signed up for the half marathon.

The mini-marathon is back this year, with the youngest runners completing 500 metres and the older runners 1,500 metres.

You can pick up your starting documents on Saturday 5 April from 13:00 to 18:00 in the Olympic swimming hall (upper right side entrance) and on Sunday 6 April from 7:45 am. Showers and changing rooms are also located there. The starting signal will be given at 10:00 a.m. on the Coubertinplatz / Hans-Jochen-Vogel Platz, which is also where the laps will be run and where the finish line will be. Runners will receive a functional shirt at the finish line and children will receive a surprise gift. Fruit refreshments will be provided at the finish, and isotonic thirst quenchers from xenoft and wheat beer from Erdinger Alkoholfrei will be available to drink.

If starting documents are still available after the registration deadline, late registration is possible on 05 April and 06 April.
