Gianna Nannini

The rock singer has used the time since her last successful album "La differenza" (2019) for various projects, including the filming of her biography "Sei nell' anima" (You are in the soul), which bears the same title as the upcoming tour. Filming began in the summer of 2023 in Siena, the home and birthplace of Gianna Nannini, who grew up here as the daughter of a famous family of confectioners - before she left home at 18, studied piano in Lucca and composition in Milan and released her first album in 1976. This was the beginning of a great career that reached its commercial peak in the 1980s. Of course, her hit duet with Edoardo Bennato "Un' estate italiana" about the Italian summer is also unforgettable - a song that became the official anthem of the 1990 World Cup and is still ringing in the ears of every football fan today. 

At the beginning of 2024, Gianna Nannini made people sit up and take notice again with the release of her single "Silenzio" - as a foretaste of her new album and her solo tour, which will see her return to the Olympic Hall more than 40 years after her first appearance in March 1983.
