Sat 01.03. - Sun 02.03.2025
The national season opener goes to Munich in 2025. The BOMO also marks the start of the Youth Cup series. Like the international calendar, the climbing season starts in the bouldering discipline. On 1 & 2 March, the next season begins for the German climbing youth.
The German Youth Cup 2025 brings some innovations! Following the international model, the age groups have also changed in the national competition circuit. U21, U17 and U15 are the new age groups. As the name suggests, the old junior class has been merged with the old youth A class and also offers older athletes a home in the national competition system. The young U15 athletes are also still guests of the DJCs. More athletes await us at the first DJC of the season and in the sporting competition for the first points of the season.
The German Youth Cup has been travelling through Germany for years. With usually six stops in the disciplines of bouldering, lead and speed, the DJC has been a guest in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Chemnitz and many other cities in recent years. Munich is the only city that hasn't offered an opportunity for a long time. But now it's time again for BOMO!
The location in the heart of the Olympic Park can hold 3000 people. In the centre is the competition wall. The Olympic Ice Sports Centre has already hosted table tennis world championships, Olympic boxing matches, the FC Bayern basketball team and much more. Now it is being remodelled one last time for the BOMO before it is reopened to the public with a new usage concept.
