The film by director Adrian Lyne made a whole generation sing and dance along exactly 40 years ago. Now a new stage production lets the audience immerse themselves once again in the story of steelworker Alex Owens, who earns a few extra dollars at night in the bar "Marby's" and dreams not only of a great career as a dancer, but also of great love. The new production by the renowned entertainment agency ShowSlot now combines the charm and look of the eighties with all the famous original hits of the film: "Maniac", "Gloria", "Manhunt" and of course the title song "Flashdance ... What a Feeling" composed by Giorgio Moroder and Keith Forsey, which won an Oscar in the category "Best Song" in 1984.
As part of its three-month autumn tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the production of the creative team around musical director Pascal Kierdorf will now also come to the stage of the Small Olympic Hall: for six performances on the four days between 30 November and 3 December. The audience can look forward to perfect dance moves by the performers as well as spectacular choreography with state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology.
