The King live on screen – accompanied by a large symphony orchestra and guest star Priscilla Presley live on stage.
In May 2017, the man who shaped pop music for good – and who with a stunning one billion records sold worldwide is still the best-selling solo artist in history – will appear on screen for his German fans, with songs like If I Can Dream and The Wonder Of You, accompanied live on stage by the symphonic orchestra. For the first time, Priscilla Presley will feature as guest star at the ultimate ELVIS concert on the tour The Wonder Of You.
Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London by renowned producers Don Reedman and Nick Patrick, the album features Elvis’ most spectacular original performances, enriched with opulent new arrangements by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The selection includes outstanding tracks such as a sultry new version of A Big Hunk O 'Love, the sublime Amazing Grace, the profoundly emotional Kentucky Rain, a stunning new version of the classic Always On My Mind and the upbeat, light-hearted I've Got A Thing About You Baby.
"I believe we have made an album that is uplifting, sensitive, heart-touching and fun – the way that Elvis was and still is for so many of us" says Don Reedman. "Elvis always loved the great, operatic vocalists," remembers Priscilla Presley, executive producer of The Wonder Of You. "It's exciting to hear him on these recordings, performing with the world-class Royal Philharmonic Orchestra via the magic of Abbey Road Studios. He would have loved these performances and I’m very happy that we were able to make this dream come true for Elvis and his fans."
