German ice hockey champions EHC Red Bull Munich are moving from the Olympic Ice Stadium to the 10,000-seat Munich Olympic Hall at year’s end for three DEL games.
Residents of Munich will first get Nuremberg’s
Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers on 30 December at 4:30 pm for the Upper Bavarian-Franconian Derby. This will be followed by games against seven-time champions
Adler Mannheim (2 January, 7:30 pm) and the DEL-record champions
Eisbären Berlin (5 January, 7:30 pm).
For hardcore fans, the club is setting up its own fan section again with more than 1,300 seats in the Olympic Hall’s east corner. Tickets for this special category will initially be sold from early October to standing room season ticket holders and fan club members of the EHC Red Bull Munich exclusively; from 17 October onwards, fan section tickets will also be available for official advance booking. Supporters of the opposing teams may also order also tickets for this category for the section on the opposite side of the Olympic Hall.
