The Eagles – original band members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmitt team up with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, bringing classic hits like "Hotel California", "One of these Nights", "Life in The Fast Lane" and "Desperado" to Munich on their current world tour.
Despite the fast-changing vagaries of the rock scene, the Eagles have retained their timeless appeal, straddling genres and generations and cementing their legendary status.
As the best-selling rock band of the 70’s, the Eagles sold more than 150 million records worldwide, and their six #1 albums and five #1 singles make them one of the top grossing bands of all time. Notching up six GRAMMY® Awards and inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, the Eagles were also honoured at the Kennedy Centre in 2016.
The American Music Industry Association (RIAA), recently confirmed the Eagles “Greatest Hits 1971–1977” LP album as the best-selling record in music history (going 38x platinum). “Hotel California” was listed as the third-best selling album (26x platinum).
