At this festival, which is supported by Lifeplus and will take place annually in the future, the visitors can look forward to numerous new activities and information about active living, physical and mental fitness, healthy nutrition, satisfaction, creativity, social activity, ecological responsibility, fun and general well-being.
Whether recreational athletes, those interested in wellness, fitness enthusiasts, the nutrition-conscious, young people, families with children or yoga fans - everyone who wants to try out their skills and new things, deepen their knowledge or is simply curious is invited. The festival visitors will be inspired to lead a healthy, active lifestyle and will not only be observers, but also actors.
The festival opens at 11.30 a.m. with workshops, sports activities and stage events. New to the programme this year is, among other things, Bamboo Flow, a new trend with old roots: here, powerful movements are practised with bamboo sticks for a meditative posture. For the first time, there will be a cycling workshop with a view of Lake Olympia, where different SUP yoga and SUP Pilates courses for advanced and beginners will take place during the day. Visitors will learn how to sustainably reduce waste and avoid plastic in Zero Waste workshops.
Sports scientist and kickboxing expert Dr. Daniel Gärtner will activate visitors in a sweaty full-body workout. In workshops with Johanna Fellner, one of Germany's leading fitness and health experts, participants can improve their mental fitness. There will also be Zumba, hula-hoop or dance sessions to live music, sound meditation or action painting as a creative group or individual experience. Families with children can expect, among other things, upcycling to make and take home, smoothie mixing, skate workshops and water fun. Young people can experience how sporting activity positively influences their health and personality.
All activities are spread over the area of the Olympic Park. This year, the festival area will be even bigger and expand to new areas: the Theatron will serve as a lecture and workshop area and Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz will become a marketplace for food & drinks with a large live cooking area. Here, star chef Andreas Schweiger, among others, will present new recipes and invite you to try them. Once again, live music acts such as SEDA and other young Munich talents as well as the Food Boulevard will ensure the perfect summer festival feeling.
