Piano and violin, oboe and ballet. In her early years, Barbara Schirin Davidavičius still had many signs of a career in classical music - until the daughter of a Lithuanian mother and an Iranian father started her own YouTube channel in 2014, which quickly became one of the most successful channels in Germany with several million subscribers. In 2015, she had her first success alongside Ado Kojo with a cover song of Sabrina Setlur's "Du liebst mich nicht".
But the Hamburg-born singer's real breakthrough came in 2019 with her first solo album "Supersize", which, like the single "Gib ihm", reached number one in the German charts. A novelty that no German female rapper had ever achieved before with her debut. With "90-60-111" (2020), "Ich darf das", "Lieben wir", "Be a Hoe/Break a Hoe" (all 2021), she conquered the top position in the singles charts four more times in the following two years.
Now the pioneer and icon of Gen Z, who also developed her own perfume line and an iced tea creation as an ambitious entrepreneur, is coming to Munich: At her concert on 18 November in the Olympic Hall.
