Rock meets Classic

Believe in Rock'n'Roll Tour 2025

Olympic Hall

Six stars from legendary bands. Six super acts that have never seen and heard before at Rock meets Classic, which has the motto: ‘Believe in Rock'n Roll’!

In April, Hertlein presented Fran Cosmo, the long-standing frontman of the US supergroup BOSTON, as the first confirmed act for 2025.

Fran Cosmo was the lead singer of Boston from 1994 to 2004 and can be heard on their top album ‘Walk On’, which also features two top 10 hits, ‘I Need Your Love’ and the title track. At Rock meets Classic, Cosmo will of course also thrill the audience with the BOSTON mega hits ‘More Than A Feeling’, ‘Peace Of Mind’ and ‘Amanda’!

Organiser Manfred Hertlein has announced a second charismatic top singer, John Elefante (66) from KANSAS, for the tour next April.

Elefante was the singer and keyboarder of KANSAS from 1981 - 1984 (as Steve Walsh's successor). During this time, the four-time Grammy winner was the main songwriter for the US supergroup and contributed hits such as ‘Fight Fire With Fire’.

Organiser Manfred Hertlein presents the next sensation: Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple) is coming!

He is regarded as the voice of rock, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, is the charismatic frontman of the supergroup Black Country Communion and has already stood behind the microphone for Deep Purple, Black Sab-bath and Gary Moore.

Hertlein crowns the gigantic line-up with the announcement of the headliner. The 2025 headliner is Lynyrd Skynyrd. The southern rock gods will be represented by guitarist and singer Randall Hall, who ‘swung the axe’ for the southerners from 1987 to 1993. What does that mean for the setlist? The answer: mega-hammer hits like ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ or ‘Free Bird’!

Live on 6 April 2025 in the Olympic Hall: Fran Cosmo (Boston), John Elefante (Kansas), Lita Ford (Runaways), Mal McNulty (Slade), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple / Black Sabbath) and Randall Hall (Lynyrd Skynyrd).
