The artist, who grew up in Erfurt under his real name Thomas Hübner, caused a sensation in 2007 when he supported Herbert Grönemeyer on his tour of Germany. The following year, he reached second place in the Bundesvision Song Contest with the song ‘Keinen Zentimeter’ and landed his first top 20 hit in the German charts at number 15. From then on, his albums were also consistently at the top of the charts. ‘So sehr dabei’ reached third place in 2008, “An und für sich” (2011) came in second place, and “Stadtrandlichter” placed him at the top of the German album rankings for the first time in 2014.
Clueso has also enjoyed great success in collaboration with other major musicians. Whether with Udo Lindenberg or Wolfgang Niedecken, with Deichkind or Mark Forster. Or with the Fantastischen Vier, with whom Clueso recorded the DFB's official World Cup song ‘Zusammen’ in 2018 - and was much more successful than the German national team at the tournament in Russia. During his spectacular new live tour, fans can look forward to great hits from the last 20 years such as ‘Chicago’, ‘Cello’ and ‘Flugmodus’ as well as many new songs in the Olympic Hall on 24 March 2026.
