Inspired by James Cameron’s ground-breaking film AVATAR, “TORUK – Der erste Flug” (The First Flight) presents a captivating fusion of acrobatics, cinematic projections, puppetry and stage dramaturgy, which carries the audience into an imaginary universe. Two artistic versions unite in TORUK, supported by a stirring soundtrack, to a magical formula, which draws the observer into their spell.   “TORUK – Der erste Flug”  (The First Flight) conveys completely new perspectives in the symbiosis of the characteristic style of the Cirque du Soleil and the imaginary world of James Cameron. An overwhelming flood of images, unforgettable characters and puppets as well as acrobatic championship combine to a brilliant live experience, which break the limits of imagination. The distinctive personal touch by the directors and multi-media innovators Michele Lemieux and Victor Pilon have had an impact on this. “TORUK – Der erste Flug” shows the Cirque Du Soleil in a completely new light.
