By the time Alice Cooper returns on stage at the Munich Olympic Hall in 2019, the veteran “shock rocker” will be celebrating his 50th anniversary as a Performer.
Also member of the superstar-celebrity group, "The Hollywood Vampires", Alice’s Golden Jubilee makes this the right opportunity to make a comeback under his own banner. Nowadays, Alice Cooper is a cult icon, still performing his mesmerizing shows in front of ever wider audiences.
His long line of classic hits includes, "School's Out", "I'm Eighteen", "Elected", "Only Women Bleed", "No More Mr. Nice Guy", "Poison" and "Under My Wheels".
The American shock-rocker’s roller-coaster career was bolstered in 2017, with the release of his double CD album. "Paranormal" became an international mega-hit, reaching #4 in the German album charts. Alice Cooper and his ace band, made up of guitarist/singer Nita Strauss, bassist Chuck Garric, Ryan Roxie and Tommy Hendriksen on guitars and vocals, as well as drummer Glen Sobel comes across in the acclaimed record: "A Paranormal Evening with Alice Cooper at the Olympia Paris".
With their customary elaborate accoutrements, the live shows should be well worth seeing. After all, Alice Cooper, the vicar’s son from Detroit, is the inventor of “shock-rock”! The godfather of shock-rock was the first performer to incorporate horror-style theatrical props into his shows, including severed doll's heads, a guillotine, a python, a set of gallows, an electric chair and lots of fake blood, thus creating a whole new live rock genre.
