After the band was founded in 2010, back then as Eskimo Cowboy, the debut album ‘Bury Me in Vegas’ made it into the charts for the first time in 2012. The combo then reached the top ten for the first time with ‘We Are the Mess’. In 2020, their mega-hit ‘Hypa Hypa’ marked another milestone in the band's career, and in 2022 Electric Callboy reached number one in the album charts for the first time with ‘Tekkno’. With ‘We Got The Moves’, they generated more than 100 million streams on Spotify alone.
One of their biggest successes in 2024 was a co-production with Babymetal. The joint song ‘Ratatata’ received more than one million streams within the first 24 hours of its release and reached the top 50 of the viral charts in more than 42 countries. After playing sold-out festivals in Japan, Australia and Europe, Electric Callboy will embark on an epochal world tour in 2025 - including a guest appearance at the Olympic Hall on 26 November 2025. ‘Every concert on this tour will be a huge celebration,’ the band said in their announcement. ‘We've been working hard on new material and special surprises and are ready to make this tour our biggest and most electrifying yet.’
