Half a dozen hands in the liquid cement, it has rarely been this tight at the immortalisation of an artist on the Munich Olympic Walk of Stars. Six of them and right on time, the Kelly Family delegation came to the ceremony in the backstage area of the Olympic Hall. Patricia Kelly took care of the writing inside the handprints before joyfully accepting the big gingerbread heart.
That same evening, they caused storms of enthusiasm at their concert in the completely sold-out Olympic Hall. Almost exactly a quarter of a century to the day after their first appearance at the same venue at the beginning of March 1995, they set off fireworks of their big hits and played almost the entire album "Over The Hump", with which they achieved their final breakthrough in Germany in 1994.
They have long since remained in the hearts of their fans - now also in a concrete slab on the shore of the Olympic lake.
