In the end they challenged themselves to a fencing duel with wooden sticks – the old fun fellows Günther Sigl and Barny Murphy.

Just on the day before their anniversary concert in the Olympiahalle celebrating 40 years of their famous Spider Murphy Gang the frontmen of the legendary local Munich band left their imprints in the Olympiapark. Sigl and Murphy did not only write their names into the cement, they also signed autographs for two fans on old record covers.

On the following day they played all their greatest hits. “Schickeria” and “Skandal im Sperrbezirk”, “Zwoa Zigarettn” and “Elisabeth”. Their indentation in the Munich Olympic Walk of Stars was just another input to their own eternalness. Music for eternity they have written long time ago.
