02/20/2005: Teenage idol Ronan Keating smiles himself into the Walk of Stars and leaves his hand prints in blue cement.

The committee of the Munich Olympic Walk of Stars honors the artist for 10 years of hits. From the former Boyzone member in 1994 to solo artist, entertainer and songwriter – Ronan Keating has become an incredibly successful pop singer.

During the five years as a member of one of the most famous pop bands ever he succeeded in continuously holding top 5 positions in the charts. In 1999, he had his first solo number 1 hit with „When you say nothing at all“. After three successful solo albums and ten years at the top he released his first greatest hits album "Ronan Keating".

He has sold more than 17 million albums across the globe – and all this by the age of 27! When he cast his hand print in cement prior to his concert, a handfull of - mostly female - fans were permitted to attend the ceremony. The enthusiasm was boundless and Ronan had to sign many posters and autograph cards.
