Elegant and stylish, very smart and very polite.
An old school Gentleman, very british indeed. Bryan Ferry turned up very charming, devoid of any vanity and shook the hands of everybody around in the backstage area of the Olympic Hall – before pushing his own hands into the liquid concrete, for a perpetuation at the Walk of Stars. The singer, songwriter and co-founder of the legendary Artrock-Band Roxy Music was in a very relaxed mood before appearing on stage at the “Night of the Proms” and enjoyed the little gift when he received “Olympi” the Olympic Park’s mascot, promising to forward to cute dog to his grandchildren.
Fun fact as a side note: Bryan Ferry was the third Commander of the British Empire who was awarded a plaque at the Munich Olympic Walk of Stars. The other two who had been named CBE by the Queen and whose hand prints are now to be seen on the shore of the Olympic Lake: Elton John and Rod Stewart.
